The 100 meter long ribbon cable has 100 sensors at a distance of 1 meter. Each of these sensors has the capability to detect a leakage. The sensor cable is installed directly on the vapor barrier following a freely selectable laying pattern and can monitor up to 140 square meters.
Sensor cable 50m

The 50 meter long ribbon cable has 50 sensors at a distance of 1 meter. Each of these sensors has the capability to detect a leakage. The sensor cable is installed directly on the vapor barrier following a freely selectable laying pattern and can monitor up to 80 square meters.
Connection Cable

The ribbon cable has a length of 50 meter and is used for connecting the sensor cable (SC018_100) with the communication unit (CU018). Therefor the connection cable has to be attached to the sensor cable simply via plug-in connector and then has to be installed vapor-tight in a ductwork. Finally the cable is plugged into the communication unit inside the building.

Bei der Kommunikationseinheit handelt es sich um ein Steuermodul, das für die regelmäßige Abfrage aller Sensoren und die Weiterleitung der Sensordaten an das Cloud-Service zuständig ist. Das Gerät bietet Anschlussmöglichkeiten für bis zu vier Sensorkabel (SC018_100) und kann somit eine Dachfläche von bis zu 560 Quadratmeter überwachen.
Cloud-Service
The roofSec cloud service is used for the sensor data evaluation. If a leakage is detected during analysis, the customer will be informed via email immediately. This service is provided free of charge by the roofSec GmbH.
